makeup. makeup. makeup.

How do you store your makeup?

I'm probably not the best person to talk about makeup storage with, only because I have the minimum.
I have loved the makeup bags that I've owned so I wanted to share those with you and some things that I've learned.

bag: 1

My makeup bag was this size until March. I wanted to be able to fit everything in it because of traveling, throwing it in my purse, or the convenience of less options while getting ready.
It served me well and had a side pocket that held tweezers and extra bobby pins. I learned this was a must. My particular one was from TJMAXX but the one pictured is from Target (always have cute makeup bags)

bag: 2

This makeup bag I use for travel (if I'm not flying with just a carry on)
This can hold hairbrushes, curling irons, makeup, and dental hygiene products.
I love the two sided compartments that zip so you can also throw in a couple items in the middle if you need to. This bag is also from Target.

bag: 3

This bag is my current makeup bag. I graduated to a larger one finally but this one holds shape which is a must if you have a larger bag. It also can fit my hairbrush and other random items to throw in if I'm in a hurry. My makeup definitely doesn't fill it up but it's nice because I can actually see what I'm trying to get.
This bag is Kate Spade.

*TIP

When buying a makeup bag make sure the inside is washable. If it's lined with fabric, chances are it's going to be looking pretty gross really fast. Also make sure to clean it out about once a month
(depending on how much you store inside) which means it's always a great time to clean out some lipstick or mascara that you don't use or needs to be replaced!

hangers.

Most of us have every kind of hanger under the sun-
plastic, pink, small, wire, large etc.
One thing that will organize your closet and make it look uniform instantly is MATCHING hangers.
My favorite our the ones pictures below. They keep your shirts in form and they are also skinny so you can fit more clothes in your closet. You can purchase them at Costco, TJMAXX, & Bed Bath and Beyond for the best price. (That I've seen)
When your clothes are all hanging the same way it will make an instant face lift to your closet.

Even though 95% of our clothes are on the same hangers we did keep some black plastic ones for the heavier things such as coats and suits.

Also keep in mind to purchase some specialty hangers while you're at it.
My favorite are skirt hangers and my husband likes the tie/belt hangers
